AeonShift was born around autumn 2025, but was only released on March 3, 2026.
It is inspired by many, many other games with similar balancing system for players (here, decks).
The idea of Deckwise regulation appeared among the old Duel Commander Committee years ago.
The first prototype was built internally between April and May 2024.
Our 2025 talk included possible direction for fixing the game, including rules like those.
After the events of October 2025, we decided to unearth the project.
